   even "my" plants are looking sad this year, but they will bounce back pretty quickly …. I've simply gotten behind as usual. Its just part of homesteading in spring-early summer

   Thanks, Ed! I never knew if I should pinch off the leaves that touch the ground early on or wait until the plant is a couple feet tall. I was afraid I'd put the plant in shock if I pinched leaves off if it was less than 2 ft tall. Thanks for reassuring me!
