Take this quite tour. Only the birds, and sounds of an urban neighborhood to accompany you. Another storm, and mosquitoes, no doubt, on the way,

  1. Thank you for the video of your lovely and peaceful garden. I am so glad you didn’t add music like so many people do. I much rather just listen to nature and listen to the birds call and sing and even cars passing by … heck even the sound of a lawnmower has a garden sound … adding music removes all the daily sounds of one’s garden. Thank you again for taking us for a walk through your front garden 🤗🏡🌿

  2. Hi Linda, I'm a fairly recent subscriber and so glad to have found your channel. We have a mutual love of topiary and I cannot resist transforming anything I consider to be an ordinary looking shrub into a lollipop 😁 so much fun and I love the architectural interest.

  3. Such a pretty relaxing garden and love the benches to sit a spell and take it in with a coffee early in the morning. Sounds of nature in your garden, so nice.

  4. This is so beautiful and serene, while still being vibrant. The high ratio of evergreens is nice. At Minute 3:20, what is the tall shrub/tree to the left of the 1935 plaque? It is such a nice shape and the new foliage is pretty. Also enjoyed seeing the additional beauty of the other gardens on the street. This is a lovely, tranquil area.

  5. Beautiful! What is that pretty wispy “tree” that is below the front porch in front of your bench? 🦋

  6. I'm not familiar with plant names. What are the tall spikey purple plants called?

  7. Thank you for sharing! Just the inspiration I needed! I have been searching all the sights for a garden space that matched my personal vision and yours comes pretty stinkin close. Sweet!!

  8. thank you so much for showing the front of your garden…i am always curious about where the grass ends and the beds begin…i would love to see pictures of how your garden has matured over the years…thank you for sharing such an inspiring garden!

  9. I’m must say; you have a wonderfully exciting garden. I love your gardening style because it reminds me of Southern traditions that haven’t been forgotten. Not to mention your resources are mostly you which you demonstrate absolutely magnificent! Happy gardening; it’s good for the soul.
