    green tomatoes will ripen if you put them in a brown paper bag for the small cherry tomatoes . For larger tomatoes you can also wrap them in newspaper or brown paper…

    Dear Josie, white pumpkins shouldn't be kept for so long on a vine because they turn yellowish. The yellowish ones have dried stems which means they are old 😉

    No composting. Green tomatoes are delicious made into chutney/relish! Good with cheeses and meats. Google some recipes to try?

    About the tomatoes—I just watched a video by Dainty Dresses Diaries who was clearing out her garden—she lives in Ireland—she had some red ones and green. I do believe if you pull green tomatoes off the vine and let them ripen in the kitchen that would work but you might want to experiment with one of the little jewels.

    Broke my heart when Dexie was protecting the leaf. The boys have no toys, which I know you say they just ruin them, but toy are essential to a dogs mental health and wellbeing. They need mental stimulation as well as physical stimulation. There are lots of recommendations of toys that are a little stronger.

    With the place markers, perhaps if you get a dry erase marker you could write different names on the leaf? Would need testing out though, and nice handwriting 😂

    You look absolutely incredible for someone who had a long flight! It is utterly miserable to be in an airport shops are shut. I was in the UK at Heathrow during lockdown and ALL I WANTED WAS A COFFEE.😂😂It's the little things.

    I read somewhere if you put the pumpkin, squash etc.in the microwave for a short period (google), its easier to cut into. Make them a bit cuter, smaller, easier to cut. ☺️☺️☺️☺️

    Tomato advice: Cut off the majority of the lower branches of leaves so that the plant puts energy into ripening tomatoes, and not into growing leaves. If you notice no change still after that, you can harvest tomatoes while they are still green— keep them on a sunny windowsill and they will ripen on their own off of the vine 🙂

    Total honesty, what you are looking to wear in TN is going to stick out like a sore thumb. The state is developing, but still much of it is rather poor . It would be a good idea to be a little more low key and relaxed vs lots of white and designer items. That's my suggestion!

    Leave the tomatoes!! I still have lots on mine too (they were very late this year compared to normal) and some turned red only this week, so you never know! Especially as they are in your greenhouse – we've been getting some lovely warm days still, you may get a few more ripen still 🙂

    I believe you can boil those citrus leaves and make a natural bug repellent. Also a dried potpourri to can add some of your bay laurel as well place in a vase or bowl around the house. Both repel spiders. Oh and can add some of your lavender.

    I gently throw my pumpkin on the path in the garden to break it in half. Saves getting hurt from the knife slipping when cutting as I’m very accident prone 🤣
