Putting together the materials I’ll need to get a jump start on the watermelon garden for 2020. Start date looks like April 5th. I have the potting soil mix, 32 oz cups seed heating mats and containers to put the watermelon seedlings in, so they can get natural light.

  3. Thanks for sharing.. I've never tried to start plants in containers before setting them out.. Usually just plant in the garden.. Maybe I should though, it's been so wet, can't get in the field.. Full View Like 7

  5. hey rob! i live out in gatineau (zone 5a i believe?) and im also starting melons, i just direct sowed a few in my garden box the other day, and started a few indoors as backups just incase,

    how are yours doing so far??? you should do an update on them im so curious!

  6. Great video! We grow the Sugar Baby, but are thinking to try something new this year. We often start them ahead as well. So great to find another Eastern Ontario Youtuber. Looking forward to following your channel. We are near Kingston šŸ™‚
