We call the bent pitch fork a potato fork
Just come across your channel, do you add new compost and new mulch on top of the existing mulch or do you rake them in a corner (or spots) then add the new compost + new mulch? Sorry if it sounds confusing but I have always want to know how you add your new compost/mulch for the new planting season.
The wood chip mulch, what kind of tree are the wood chips from?
Was that mulch just wood chips or true processed mulch.
I think it is a Dutch hoe or what we in the Netherlands call a schoffel or a variant of it.
We used the loop hoe as you called it 28 years ago on vegetable farms in Ontario Canada. Although ours were a wee bit different in design but work absolutely flawless. Onions are usually planted in beds with the onions staggered. With the little hoe you could go in between all the onions. Hince why we called them onion hoes.
I'm puzzled by your stirrup hoe seeming to wobble. I saw another one like yours, and they called it an oscillating hoe. I have a stirrup hoe but it's fixed at the end of the handle, with the same fitting as the spade and normal hoe, and doesn't make that wobbly sound while hoeing either. Is there an advantage to yours being wobbly vs fixed? Do you not put bamboos to hold up your tomatoes?
i need this please tell me how i can get this
thanks bud
1st time viewer & I would say that it’s important to say which part of the USA you’re in. Because a lot weeds only grow in certain parts of the us. In the south, lots of weeds spread regardless of how you pull them because the seeds are on top.
Oh, my goodness!!!! You just gave me a good idea. Thank you.
Pimp’s got himself 3 good hoes.
How is your ground so soft?
You need a wheel hoe….
You don't need to rake the Weeds up?
I have totes of earth worms & night crawlers, over a million of them, I sell the soil aka black gold & give it away, I can grow a plant on the table with the soil with no sun, best thing to do is a compost bin with worms, they love egg shells. And the soil you get from them after cleaning is amazing.
Do you have your squash spaced enough?
Wowok
So after you use the loophoe do you just leave the weeds there or do you clean them up? I’m not gardening at all, just need to clean up overgrown weeds in the bed!
I live in Colorado you must live somewhere wet. Lol wish our soil was like that.
I use propane weed burner and, and take on the tractor. That thing looks great for easy coast but rocky mountains a whole different animal.
I love my diamond hoe!
🙏🙏😱
Once you use the loop hoe and cut up all the weeds do you leave the cut weeds on the ground or scoop them up to throw the load away? If you leave it on the ground don’t the weeds re-root themselves?
Excellent video! You have given me hope that I can handle the weeds in the veggie garden!
Not for me my garden is hard like rock I need something stronger
Your explanation of hoeing your gardening is how I grew up
Thanks!
Thank you so much! I was driving myself crazy on how to get started!

You can also use Nature's helper for mulch in the garden. It's a wonderful soil conditioner.
Thanks a lot sir for showing this. I have a small question. Is using loop hoe to remove weeds from a lawn (not garden) a good idea?
Thank you for this video!!
Need to get that tool thx. Great garden 👍👍👍
