👋🏽I was still harvesting peppers last week. I’m in 7B TN. I think it’s done though. I had less than half of what is usual. My plans are to pull it up and replace it until next pepper season. This is my first fall starter and so glad you’re showing how to over winter.
How do you care for the plants while over wintering? I do have like a mini greenhouse that’s heated in my garage

Hello Tee!🖐 Awesome video on overwintering peppers and tips!👏 I have been harvesting my peppers for two weeks now; then dehydrate and grind them for my spice rack! Due to hard freeze for Saturday am predicted, I pulled my large green bell pepper and my Brazilian starfish pepper which will be their third year! I place the pruned and cleaned plants in new soil, pots to overwinter in my family room near my AeroGarden. Will be overwintering my cayenne and other hot peppers as well!

Tee, I re watched the video and have many questions you didn't go over. How often do you water them while they are overwintering? Do you change them into new soil if you are bringing them into your home? Do you fertilize them? And about when do you bring them back out after winter?

Hi Tee! I just harvested 6 bell peppers this morning. I have about 5 pepper plants that's flowering, finally…now since the triple digits are gone. I hope I can harvest more peppers from the other plants before my 1st frost which is Dec 1st. Thank you for sharing how to overwinter our pepper plants because that's what I want to do. ⚘️😊
I’ve got oodles of small/immature peppers that will just not mature here in southern maine. I started them all from seed.. should have started them much sooner.. lesson learned 🙂
I have had success, just taking my peppers into the kitchen after the season.
We have a frost advisory for the next 3 days, and then it's going to warm back up into the upper 60's and overnight lows in the mid 40's. I've been out harvesting all the tomatoes from the plants just in case. I have so many that I can be really selective on which ones I keep. It's going to be around 300. As far as the peppers go I harvested the last of them about 5 or 6 weeks ago and cut them out to plant some cool weather crops. I watch a lot of food growing channels on YouTube and It's not fair that all the channels from the south that I watch are still planting crops and I have to shut most of my garden down lol. One channel I watch from Georgia has trays of seedlings he's getting ready to plant.
I am trying fall planting here in Central Florida and it has been so warm. I finally had to leave my cucumber 🥒 outside to grow. I pray that I get some off it 🙏 My Baby Bell Peppers are just starting to grow so let's see what happens. Thanks for the encouragement Tee. Blessings to you.

Your peppers look great!! I was able to grow 3 peppers from my 1 pepper plant but for some reason all 3 of my peppers grew curled.
That's my next project is overwintering everything I can, especially peppers. Nice harvest of peppers.
