I filmed this video about a month ago of my balcony container garden on Midsummer, in late June. You don’t need a big space to grow a garden: I have been growing lots of plants in my small urban container garden for years! I hope you enjoy this tour and I hope it provides some inspiration for the possibilities of planting flowers, vegetables and herbs, even in a tiny space.

  1. Thanks for this. I've wanted to hang planters from my railing for years but could never figure out how (even bought hardware specifically for that purpose – it didn't fit). Then I see you've zip tied yours. It's so simple, so obvious! but it never would've occurred to me try that. Your little hack has opened up a ton of new gardening space and possibilities in my teeny yard. Your garden is so charming, you've done so much with your space. Thanks again for the inspo.
