I too like the Home Grown show, after seeing your dirt it seems to be missing nutrients. Maybe consider doing the layer method and adding manure and compost soil to your boxes.

Im going to share with you my experience with mint growing. I live in Southeast Michigan and I love mint. I have grown many varieties. As you know we learn by trial and error. Mint likes cooler weather. I found that it grows much better in weather thats between 75–55 degrees. Florida heat scorches everything. winter is going to be when mint thrives in florida. or it will do well inside by a sunny window. Spearmint and Strawwberry mint grows upward and work great in flower arrangements. Chocolate, peppermint, orange, pineapple
mints tend to weep or hang and they make great hanging plants. Also, many hearbs prefer cool weather. Start your mint and herbs like Rosemary, parsley, thyme, sage in fall. The Basil likes warmer weather. Hope these tips help. 😁🌿

I love all your vlogs but I really loved your book tour! Wind in the Willows is super cute, kind of like a collection of short stories that all tie together in the end. And you’ll love Lord of the Rings, the movies will make a lot more sense when you’ve read them all!

I had to try three different editions of fellowship of the ring before I managed to finish it (it was 4yrs start to finish), I’m dyslexic so that didn’t help. If you have the chance watch the extended edition of the lord of the rings, they just add such wonderful bits which make the movie feel so full.

I am a new subscriber and I just love your channel so much <3 I just wanted to say that The Lord of the Rings series has been my favorite since I was a child and my parents used to read them to me! I still re-read them all the time! That series is one that you can really pass down to your future children! I own the books passed down to me from my dad and its so special. I hope you love them <3

The comments in that prayer book break my heart. Prayer in any spirituality should never be met with such harsh words. If there was fighting going on the parents should've been looking to teach their daughter on her level. This just digs so much into my religious trauma. I love your videos Allie but everytime you bring up this book and say it makes you giggle it makes me sad… This is not something anyone should find funny. It's being emotionally abused and using religion as the belt..
I loved this vlog! I'm an avid reader and book collector, but since I got my Kindle years ago I rarely buy or read hardbacks anymore. My daughter-in-law is a library assistant, and refuses to read on a Kindle, LOL, can't blame her, and passes along some of her books to me of authors I like. Anyway, after seeing your beautiful book collection I knew I was missing out on the thrill of holding and reading a great book, so went and purchased one of my long-time favorites, Anne of Green Gables, in the collection you featured. Can't wait for it to arrive. I have the Hobbit collection in my basket at Amazon and, like you, I've never read it or watched any of the LOTR movies, as well as the candle warmer lamp, and I've got an eye on that sling bag. Yikes! You did a great job at your job as an influencer today, lol. I'm so happy for you that your beautiful garden, flowers, and vines survived the storm. My sister-in-law's yard in Cape Coral didn't fare so well. Her beautiful view out of her backyard on the canal was devastated, as were most of her palms, her lanai screen and structure, garage doors, and part of the lanai roof. Thankfully her house is still standing and she had no flooding, for which we are super grateful. I'm so sad she has to deal with all of this after the loss of my brother recently. Thanks so much for bringing beautiful content to us and making the world a little brighter!
