I've had this modelnfor over three years now and I live in asouth Florida so it is out in the sun and in use all year. It has worked flawlessly.
Melnor makes an all metal impulse sprinkler that I've had for about a decade now called the 3900h. It's a workhorse and has never failed me. You might need to use a tool to adjust the diffuser but its quality is very high. I also have a pair of rotor sprinklers ( model 2950) from them on spikes that I have in a bed like an in ground system. They're three years old and are used year 'round in Florida. They've proven reliable so far and I haven't needed to adjust them after the first week.
Love your channel
Congratulations on your channel. Mr. Bruce Solomon and any person here, you are so lucky, I have been buying one of this sprinklers almost every 2 years. I do not know if I am unlucky or something is wrong. The sprinklers work well when they are new, after one to two years, the adjustable part of the pattern does not work and moves either to just one way or go all the way down, and it irrigates just the bottom in the sprinkler area making a big erosion, or it does not turn to the other side. I bought 3 metals and I just gave up on the last one. I will try the turbo oscillating that is in the cylinder shape and hopefully it last a little more .
Great information! Very helpful
How wide is the stream approximately at the widest point (parallel to the sprinkler)? Want to be sure it covers my area without much watering the street nor my sidewalk
You explained this better than the other videos. Thank you
Great review. Thanks
Is there a lock on this? Mine won't Oscillate no matter how I move the adjustments
Have had this same sprinkler for something like 2 to 3 years, and it has worked fine until this past Sunday. It stopped oscillating. Water flow is fine. I twiddled with the "range paddles" (if that's what they are), and it made one more oscillation after that and then stopped again.
It's a good sprinkler. I'd rather not throw away, but would rather that than than fiddle with it for an hour or two and it still not work. Any maintenance or trouble shooting tips ?? Many thanks.
