  1. We are a family of ten and have never had a dish washer, our kitchen is too small for one even if we changed our mind. I love the simple life personally. The hard part for me is that I love educating the children…and I need to spend more time in the kitchen.

  2. How dare people judge Adam…he is working very hard so your family can be successful in your home projects. Know that most people feel you both do amazing. Praying for a wood stove…please pray with us.

  3. You are doing such an awesome, and an amazing job as as Mother, and a Wife.
You and Mr. Adam are wonderful parents.
Your children are lovely human beings!
    Keep it up!
    God bless you all!
We enjoy your videos very much, and we are so blessed with your Canning, preserving food, saving money, your recipes, and every day wisdom.
    Thank you!

  4. You are awesome. You are a wonderful example of someone who loves their family dearly, doesn’t apologize for how you raise your kids and doesn’t pass judgment on those who raise them differently. I appreciate that.

Also, I prefer the voiceover type of video you have been making!!

Sending love from our family to yours 🖤

  5. My friend's daughter was 8 when she was with her mum through midwife appointments.
    She was encouraged and inspired
All grown up married with two boys of her own now
She trained as a midwife here in the UK and worked until she had her own family.

  6. God bless you dear Jessica you are a great Christian mother, you inspired me so much… I am a mum of 3 (8,11,14) following your lovely channeI from Italy !!!

  7. Thank you for tolerating the negative (& finding a path for growth!) so that the rest of us can learn & grow in what you can teach. Not sure I’m strong enough for that… I might be saying None of your beeswax!😂 your forbearance shows your closeness to God❤

  8. I'd love to hear more about homeschooling. Particularly how you teach multiples, especially while dealing with morning sickness, or pregnancy fatigue, etc. My kids are 1st grade, preschool and 2 yrs. I'm still learning how to juggle all 3 while teaching. It's going better then it was in August.

  9. Jsssica, it is a beautiful thing that in the same way you kept your eldest son safe from things that could harm him, he is now able to do that for himself. For all of your children, this will extend to all areas of their lives.
    Well done Momma, well done.

  10. My 5 children were 15 yrs apart oldest to youngest. I called them my books ends. Such a matched set in so many ways. A blessing for sure. Bless your growing family, Jessica.

  11. Dear Jessica, thank you for your work. You are serving as a mentor to me.

  12. I love the voice over and love all of your content in general. I found your channel a month or two ago and I find myself going on YouTube most days just to make my way through the content on your channel lol What I am drawn to is your mothering, your calm voice, your honesty, your authenticity and your wisdom. I love learning from what you share and I’m so happy for you that your channel has been growing and that you’re able to do that big project that will make such a difference in your home. Soo exciting!! Thanks for being you and starting this community 🙂

  13. Jessica, I live a very different life than you, no children we live on Guam I have a cat colony outside, 6 cats inside, lots of wild chickens and laying chickens and I do all tropical farming. I volunteer teach coupon classes and home economics classes, and canning classes to our local and military community. I enjoy every one of your videos. I even watch the homeschool sections. I can not begin to tell you how much I appreciate you sharing your life and putting it out in to the world. It's very brave. It's also very considerate of you to answer so many personal questions about your family. Thank you for more insights about how you choose to live. I find myself thinking often about how you are creating the home and lifestyle for your family. It gives me inspiration to share your channel with other military spouses here and to tell them this isn't about living the life that they (you) have. It's about creating what is right for your family, it's about creating the beliefs and culture that you think is right for you. Thank you again.

  14. So funny that people are worried that your kids are not exposed to fast foods or restaurants. My siblings and I did not go to a restaurant or fast food until I was in junior high except for pizza once or twice a year. All my friends were envious that we had home cooked meals every day. And when we did start eating out it was only once or twice a year.

  15. I would love to add a suggestion for your high school curriculum! I just recently found Dave Ramsey. And Oh how I wish I had 25 years ago!!! He is a spiritual man with an amazing story and sound financial advice/planning. I feel like I've never been taught the things he teaches, by anyone! Not by school, family, the family business… no where. Praying blessings for you and yours.

  16. Thank you for sharing your life with us. You are a beautiful lady inside and out. I’m a mama of 7 and one thing that has helped us with dishes is each child has their own plate that looks different from the others. We keep a wooden dry dish rack out and after each meal they wash their own plate so it’s ready for the next meal. No paper plates and less in the dishwasher that way. Also I have a tile for each child that they keep their cup of the day on. That way we use less cups and they always know where their cup is for a drink. Hope this helps someone.

  17. I love watching your videos, u are doing amazing, rising your family and thetschin your shildren how to work together with love, may God bless you and help you go on doing great

  18. I have only been a Subbie since your pantry challenge in January and I have learned so much from you. I appreciate all that you share with us and look forward to learning more fro you. Also, I'm a fellow Northern Ohioan. I'm in north central Ohio. Blessings to you and your family.

  19. Jessica, I just want to say a few things: you're one of the sweetest women alive. I'm sure you will have a special seat in heaven.I'm honored to even get to watch you on YouTube and never ever worry about cruel people we are not here to please them only God and I'm sure he's very pleased with you..God bless you and your family

  20. Thank you for sharing so much with us! I would love more homeschool information content in the future! We are another homeschooling family

  21. Good luck with your baby. ☺️ My boy’s birthday is 12/28. He’ll be 9 this year. It’s like a week long party between Christmas, birthday, New Years, whew! He’s wonderful, the best jolly laugh, smiley face, a loving “man of the people”, loves Star Wars and legos. We didn’t find out either of our babies’ gender until they were born either. It’s like an old school gender reveal party. 🤣

  22. I love how respectfully you answer people’s questions that are really none of their business to be asking or worrying so much about anyways ❤ the most graceful responses are heard 😊

  23. Growing up I had a lot of chores. Yes some days I thought I hated it. I grew up with work ethic and I’m thankful for those chores.

  24. 🇦🇺Make sure you enlarge the cellar, so that it can handle everything you need to put in there. Industrial shelving, drying racks, rack on the ceiling for spices etc.

  25. Thankyou for your answers! Like you said every family is differant, the way yours is set up works wonderfully for you!
You said the children are getting a break from school during planting and canning seasons! I dissagree they are learning some science and biology lessons. Not everything has to be book learned!
You are doing a great job as a mother and home maker! Keep up the great work

  26. You do a great job, Jessica. I am amazed with the organization you have and the love you share with your family. Thank you for sharing what you do, and do not change for any negative comment. All families are different, you are simply showing us yours. The negative comments are from different family cultures (I like that perspective; family culture.) I have no children; it's just my partner Mike and I.

  27. 🇦🇺My 12 year old granddaughter loves having different teachers for each subject in high school (grade 7) and loves school in general. My 14 year old grandson doesn’t like high school (grade 9). I think I would love for them to be homeschooled.

  28. Jessica you are a great role model for your children! The life skills you teach are great and well rounded! I wish I had had the opportunity to homeschool when my child was young. Your children learn so much more everyday and good life skills. You are such a gentle soul your voice is so comforting 💕 💗 you and Aaron are great parents keep doing you!! There is always going to be negativity ignore it you rise above it!!

  29. As you said, Adam also works outside of the home. To me it appears that you are a team, and help each other as needed. I love that him interacting with the kids is a priority, as is should be. Your system works, don't let anybody say otherwise. 🙂

  30. Your AMAZING! Just amazing..such an inspiration! Whenever I feel frustrated with my SAHM life( i have 2 under 2) I watch you and realize if you can do all this with 7 kids and one on the way so can I!

  31. I'm a 55 yr old atheist from New Zealand and I LOVE your channel 🙂 I grew up on farms so having outdoor/animal chores as a kid is normal to me. I think it's character building. Thank you for the wonderful content you share.

  32. My family have food allergies.. I am the only one with a chocolate allergy.. My granddaughter has watermelon allergies.. she can eat watermelon.. but the juice from the watermelon burns her skin.. and she gets a rash.. She is also allergic to pineapple and avocados, which she can not eat.. Her brother is allergic to strawberries.. Non-food allery sunscreen. He can't wear sunscreen at all. THEIR AUNTIE.. is allergic to pineapple and watermelon, she can't eat either.. None of my children or grandchildren have flour, egg, honey, peanut, and milk allergies.. Where My sister has egg, flour, and milk allergies..

  33. I think you are a super woman.
It takes educating yourself to do all you do.
I'm sorry people can be so judgemental.
I would suggest that most wives I know would not be able to accomplish all you do.
It must have been so scary as a new bride dealing with severe food allergies.
I my self would have said no more peopling, I will protect my family.
You to me represent what our society needs to come back to.
Just the fact that your children know how to sew, cook, animal husbandry gives them such a wonderful education.
I am old enough that I learned sewing and cooking in my classes at school.
By the time my daughter reached high-school they had her make a cloth case for tissues, not enough to really learn.
I worked graveyard outside the home and attended college classes, so wasn't able to teach her those things.
Your children are so lucky to have those skills as a solid base for life.
I see so many parents that think chores are being "mean" to their kids. Guess what, they don't learn how to manage their time or be responsible.
By the time their teens the parents have no clue how to deal with them, and there's not much respect for their parents. It's sad.
I was a foster parent for a lot of years, and one thing I believe I learned from it is children need and want discipline. It says some one out there sees them and cares.
You just keep doing what you're doing.
You know your family the best.
Some times all that anger is just plain jealously.
They see what you do and get angry because they aren't willing to do the same.
I think you are special, and a great teacher. Cudos!
