I'm very curious to see how your container bulbs do. I'm going to try a bunch myself this year. Last year, I thought the winter was going to be too harsh so I kept the containers under a furniture covering and that was a huge mistake. On a warm day they all came up and had no sun so they just died lol this year I think I'll just let them be exposed to the full winter cold and see what happens. The joys of chicago winter balcony gardening lol

Hey Bethany – I so badly want to grow bearded iris, but live in Nw florida, zone 7 I believe. There has to be a way to make it work–any ideas? They grow in Alabama:( thanks!
