When gardeners garden, it is not just plants that grow, but the gardeners themselves.โ -Ken Druse
Welcome! Back in early February I started my โTiny Tomato Projectโ which is where I sowed 11 (yes 11!) different micro dwarf tomato seeds. These micro dwarf tomatoes stay so small, you can keep them in a 1 gallon or less pot in your yard or patio, or even a balcony! Iโm excited to get these guys potted up and into some sun where I will anxiously await the fruits of my labor! ๐๐ Enjoy!

I'm very excited to follow along with this project! We don't have many full sun spots here (except the middle of the front lawn ๐) so this is a perfect way for me to just tuck tomatoes into sunny pockets here and there.
So jealous! Snowing today!
planting tomatoes in pots is very nice
Oh my goodness theyโre SO CUTE! And that plant stand is super cute too! Love it!!
Thank you so much for this video. Iโm going to give them a try! By the way, I love the music you choose, itโs happy and upbeat. 85-90 degrees, here in Michigan itโs in the 40โs.
My 4 year old son now sings along with your intro song whenever I watch your videos! Lol those are really cool tomatoes! Would have been nice to have those a couple years ago when I was renting our house and our landlord didnโt want us to garden. So I did container garden on the deck and trying to grow 8 foot tomato plants was interesting! I took twin and tied them to our roof to keep them upright ๐
What a variety, you'll have tomatoes all season for your salads. I love science!
I love this idea. I said I wasn't going to buy more seeds…
Super cute! I can't wait to see which tomato will be your favorite this year. BTW, you had me cracking up about the fertilizer. I've used fish fertilizer out in the open and it is pretty bad so I can only imagine how bad it got in your greenhouse. ๐คชLOL
Hello, it's a video with lots of fun. I will come to see it again. I'm looking forward to growing up.๐๐๐๐๐
Fun. Looking forward to see the fruit on them. ๐ ๐ ๐
This is so cool. I had no idea so Thanks for cluing me in. Being limited on sun in my yard I would love to get my hands on these babies. ๐บ
Wow! Thank you for this video! Who knew there were so many dwarf varieties of tomatoes?! Well not me! lol ….looking forward to trying these next year!
O.k. I have got to try these ,thanks for telling us about them โค๏ธ
Cute little plants. Good job, you're a great gardener ๐ฅฐ
I love Renaissance farms! I get some cool unique varieties there! Theyโre too cute what an awesome project!!!
This are great in my garden, saving lots of space is all I need! lol
Amazing background with beautiful pool
Excellent tomatoes
Hi Janey, hope you are well and sorry about your pruning accident. Really enjoyed this video about gardening in small spaces and find the Micro Dwarf Tomatoes really fascinating. We have never heard of them and not even sure that they are available in The UK – will have to enquire! Best wishes, Paul.
Yes…I can see the darker green color !!
Sooooooo yes to the stinky fertilizer. I made the mistake of leaving some in my watering can that I used on my seedlings ….the next morning I went in there and thought something had died. I will always dump the leftovers from now on !!!! Good luck with the tomatoes . I can't wait to see what the plants yield !!!
I did not know they had tomato plants that stayed that small! The way you displayed them turned out so pretty ๐
your pool looks so pretty and inviting! Those micro tomatoes look so fun!!
Cool idea. I canโt wait to see their progress. Happy gardening.
As you can see from the order of my comments I'm still catching up on all your videos, ha! I love these tomato varieties and would love to try a few. The inkspot specifically looks really yummy for some reason. ๐ I also love the cute pot shelf, however, I think you need to kick that right leg out a bit more, the tilting was making me crazy, haha! I hope I'm not the only one. ๐คช Can't wait to see the growth on the "Tiny Tomato Town!" And how cute would one of these look in the girl's fairy garden!
I have a couple of trellises in my garden that I bought years ago.
If every time I think of you
Not impressed with the thick skin or flavor of the Orange Hat from Baker Creek but those were my first micros that put fruit on
