The first summer container gardens are planted! I’m this first of 2 container gardening videos I show how to easily add summer veggies to a pot with an existing conifer.

  1. Just found your channel; I expect it will be quite informative as I live in the same area.
    I hope Soil3 is good since I filled a raised bed with it (mostly Soil3, some peat & coarse perlite I had left from previous project years ago). I did a soil test and it came back as having 114 ppm sodium and low N (9.9 ppm). I can fix the nitrogen, but what should I do about the sodium? I guess if it rains a lot it will leach out. Is that enough? Sometimes gypsum is recommended for sodic soils, but Ca is already optimal (170 ppm) as is S (12.3 ppm). P, K, Zn & B are all super high.

    { I wanted to get the cu yd delivered, but my husband said no since I have chronic health problems & he thought we might wind up with the big yellow bag in our driveway for an extended period & get in trouble with the HOA. Have had to make 4 trips to pick up on the 4 bags mini cube deal so far. }
