Rhubarb is so popular in Iowa that my local grocery store carries it both fresh and frozen as well as pie! Yum.

My neighbor just planted a rhubarb plant that she got from her friend. She said it’s 20 years old and still going strong! It looks so healthy. I have never eaten or grown rhubarb, but maybe I will add this to my list for next year!
One of my grandsons likes to chew on rhubarb too. He started eating it around age 3. Thank you for sharing

Do you leave them in pots all year? The frost and snow won’t kill the plants?
It’s good to know a 20" diameter and 20" deep pot is sufficient. My plants are going into pockets of soil nestled within large rocks/boulders. I was wondering how much room each plant required. Thanks!
Please site your resources regarding feeding and fertilizing. I have been reading, and learned the hard way, rhubarb thrive with heavy feeding of organic compost etc. . Experiment with your two, see for yourself.

Can rhubarb grow in Florida? My mother loves rhubarb but stores usually don't carry it.
How do you wrap them for the winter ? I was planning on taking my bucket inside the garage for the winter . I live in Buffalo , so I was told that it might be too cold to leave them outside if they are in a container . Thanks enjoyed the video . Howie
