Recently Hurricane Ian threatened to make its way to our part of North Carolina, and we made preparations to protect the nursery and house as best we could. Thankfully we only received rain and a bit of wind. Join me as I walk you through both the nursery and our personal gardens to give you an update on how we faired.

Very Thankful y'all are doing good. God is Good!!
Glad to hear you really didn't get any damage. Thanks for the update. ❤️😊
Blessings and Prayers always !!
Thank you for the update, Jenny. I am so glad you and your family are safe, and that the nursery also did well. We also lucked out here in Homestead, FL. this time. I went through hurricane Andrew when I was 12 y/o, and it was terrifying, so my heart goes out to all those affected in the West Coast of Florida. I have family in Port Charlette who are thankfully doing well but did sustain some damage to their home and vehicles. They are still without power, so I am praying that gets restored soon. After Andrew we didn't have power for 1 month, so I am hoping that's not the case for so many. 🙏
So happy all of you are safe! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
So glad God has blessed you and your family. Deep prayers go out to those who weren't so lucky. We as well here in Virginia recieved little damage like you. We have lots of pine trees, so you know the debris for cleaning up. Be safe! 💗💗🙏🙏
Glad you are safe!
Praise God your home and business did not take a lot of damage! ❤️
I can’t imagine a hurricane!! We had straight line winds a few years back that took down our barn and took out huge trees and that was 70 miles per hour winds so i can’t imagine 150!! Praying for all those affected by this storm!!!
So glad everything is ok! Same here in WV, just lots of rain. Your mums are beautiful!!
Deb here. Glad all is well. We are in southern Jersey and have had rain for over 4 days. Wish we had this rain during the hot summer.
How is your dahlia patch? Happy to see your home, gardens, and nursery did not had damage. Same here. Greetings from Puerto Rico.
I am with you even though here in Durham, NC we got winds and so much rain, I will take that over the devastation of where it hurts worse.
Love watching your channel! So glad to here your final comments on here…”we trust in His Sovereignty and grace and we know who hold us!” Amen!! 💕🙏🏻💕Praying for everyone impacted and for the many hard days ahead for them!
Glad to hear you all came through safely, so many have not. Blessings to you all, 👍😉❣️👏❤️🥰. Glad your through to the other side.
Hi Jenny, I am one of your fans down here in Fort Myers, Florida. We luckily did not have a big amount of damage compared to some. We have two big Shady Lady tree's that are now in need of a big trim and my lovely garden is 25 0/) gone. Had a beautiful Firebush that was 7 feet tall, gone down to one trunk and it had to be dug up. Will get my garden back, just will take time. Our Florida First Lady has a great charity to donate to, in a brain fog and don't remember what it is right now. I have two friends that have lost their homes as with so many other people. Glad you were okay and had little damage. Thank you so much for suggesting people donate going to be needed. Will keep watching you for inspiration.
Glad you all did not have more damage. Down here in Cape Coral, Lee County, Florida, I still have no power on Day 9, but my house and my daughter’s house survived with minor damage. On the other hand the hurricane destroyed our trees and gardens and have given us many opportunities to redesign our gardens. LOL
