It time to take a tour of the Front Yard and show you how all these beautiful plants look now that they have filled in.

  1. I really love the hydrangeas. They are beautiful. Day lilies are an awesome tough plant. All of ours have finished blooming now. Have a blessed Sunday❤️😊❤️

  2. Oh yes, I love chicharas! Used to love to catch them. You have beautiful flowers . Everything is so pretty!

  3. The strawberry hill garden looks beautiful. May I recommend Strawberry Fields gomphrena tucked in between the limelight hydrangeas? It blooms a nice shade of red & isn’t as aggressive as other gomphrenas.

  4. Looks lovely. Not sure where in Virginia in zone 7b but I grew up in Hampton which is zone 7b.

  5. I put my large pots on paver stone with grooves in them, water will come out of pot and run through the grooves on the paver stones and away from pots.

  6. New subby! I’m also in virginia! Where about are you? I love how you say cicadas!!! I watch garden answer and you were a recommended channel. I’m just starting to really get into gardening and I just planted a pinky winky hydrangea and I can see why people love them. It will be fun to watch you because if something works in our zone for you I know I can try it and hopefully have success. Virginia’s heat and humidity is a beast for some of the plants I have tried l.

  7. Welcome to VA! I love your garden very much❤ I have my hands full with my new property with a lot of issues. Shade, clay soil, erosion etc. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed because it is just me but I love to plan what I'll do next time🤔I'm in the Stafford area.

  8. The colors of your house are my fave aesthetic. I love a red house and black door trimmed in white.

Portulaca usually opens until the sun isn’t upon it. Mine is in full sun and doesn’t close until early evening.

  9. I would get into a car crash if I drove by your house! Those hydrangeas are an absolute dream. Thank you for the tour…you guys gave me a lot of inspiration. Btw…do the hydrangeas attract bees or it's the bee balm attracting them? I'm asking because I want to plant Little Limelight in my backyard but I don't want to really attract bees for fear they might sting my family.

  10. Felicitaciones, hermoso jardin! Hacen estos videos en Español?
Su dedicacion y esfuerzo nos hace orgullosos a los hispanos.

  11. Your garden should be in a magazine! Of course the hydrangeas are gorgeous but the way you’ve incorporated the little red flowers mirrors your home color perfectly. Perfection
