  1. I just buy the plants at my local farmers market. But they don't always produce fruit so I wanted to try it from seeds this year. Thank you for the quick how to video.

  2. Not sure if you would respond to this, but if I used older potting soil that had questionable things in it and put new potting soil on top (in a pot, not a garden bed), should I be worried about "disease contaminates"? I don't have a garden, I just want to grow them in a 12 inch pot.

  3. I planted 30 tomato seeds (2 per hole). I'm now waiting for them to germinate. 🌱🌱

UPDATE: One of my tomato plants started flowering

  4. *plan 6 weeks before last frost date
    *Don't use garden soil
    *Use sterile seed starting mix
*Add mix to container of choice
    *Remove air pockets
*Use finger or pencil to poke two holes
    *Quarter inch deep hole
*Plant 1-2 seeds to ensure at least one makes it
*Sprinkle additional mix to cover the holes
*Gently firm mix to remove any air pockets
    *Water lightly
    *Place tray in warm place
    *Cover to keep moisture
*Once you see first seedling light them with grow lights
*When seedlings are two inches tall remove the weakest seedlings
*once seedling have two sets of leaves feed them every week with seedling fertilizer
*After a month of growing remove one gently and check the roots. When roots fill the sell it's time to move them
*Move them to larger areas and put moist planting mix
*It's okay to bury some stem
    *Put back under grow lights
*After the danger of frost is gone move them outside
    *Plant them I'm soil
*Water thoroughly and put a support

  5. Best video every, no skip required because it was clear and precise with instructions and images to show what stage your at and what you should follow through with to make sure they are happy… side note I already knew they needed heat but within 5 days 3 had sprouted and I wasn’t sure if they were weeds since I planted 14 seeds and only those three grew when it said it would take 10-14 days to show. Other side note this is my first time growing vegetable and I have a 7 year old as my partner in crime. I have no idea how to grow tomatoes only succulents… so glad this video shows the images and is very clear.

  6. In the gulf coast area near Houston we don't have a 6 week window of warm weather before it's time to plant. If you wait too late to plant, they won't produce because they will burn up. This might work in some parts of the country, but not in others.

  7. I am glad I found this video. The others talk about their life story, where the soil came from ect. Thank you for a straight forward video.

  8. Thank you for your video!
I planted tomatoes, peppers and eggplants last year. She showed her experience on her channel. I thought I was the only one who didn't know anything. It turns out that many people need your skill. Thanks again 🙏

  9. Thank you for the helpful video! What are all of these lovely plants and flowers surrounding your tomato plants?
