Look great but what if the trees grow big? Then won't look great anymore unless you maybe them in the pot underground to control them from growing to large.
Just beautiful! I just started planting Jp's and am wondering when and how you prune them. Also the bonsai. Any recommendations of videos or sites? Again…love your yard!
This is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for the ideas. It would have been nice though if you could have talked and explained what each plant was as I know many here but some I do not and some I have not seen before so would have liked to know what types of evergreens and bonsai's those were. Overall though, I absolutely Love what you've done.
This garden was the inspiration for me starting my own maple garden… Only mine looks abysmal lol. I just dont have the ground space to plant so many varieties of plants together like this.
Absolutely beautiful arrangement of plant material. Stunning to look at overall. The only thing that does not set well 'to my eye' are the trail of round stones. Although it may have some kind of Oriental purpose or reasoning I suppose, it does not look natural? Trees never line up in a perfect path, in my opinion – nor should rocks. Remove them all and notice how much nicer this entire planting would appear.
Scrap the rock edging. It’s too much and it takes away from your amazing work you have done. Also do a flagstone path to the door instead of pavers. It’s a contradiction to the feel of the yard.
I’ve been looking for inspiration for a Japanese garden without a large water feature, but didn’t k ow what I wanted. This looks stunning – I want to recreate it 😀
How amazing!!! Are your trees in full sun or part sun? They are ll so gorgeous! If I drove by a house like that they would think I’m a stalker because I would stop my care and stare for a very long time 🙂
You are suck all you growing it's just a trees to look at it,… Grow some real food so you can staring all day long and everyday too. Tree is everywhere to staring at it.

Thats hardly a Japanese garden . They are supposed to look natural and your garden is a far cry from looking natural.

What type of shrubs do you have in your garden? They look amazing with your Japanese Maple trees. How often do you prune your trees?

Nicely maintained! How do you maintain the edging? Do your neighbors appreciate the hard work?
What about your garden now after these years?
I'm going to guess that this is from somewhere in Nassau County LI
