  1. Hi Robbie, today I went to Habitat for Humanity and found a large tote for $3 bucks 😊 thank you for sharing your awesome tips, sending hugs 🤗 from Canada 🇨🇦 God bless you and Gary 💛🌺

  2. I appreciate your beautiful garden ideas!
I will be putting a couple of totes near our peach tree- following your suggestion. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Today I set up some containers following your advice and suggestions which I absolutely love !! I do have a question tho… doesn’t the soil that you layer on top of the wood etc settle and drop down after awhile and if so what do you do ? Do you top it off or leave it alone ? TIA 🙏
    Love you channel btw 😃😍

  4. I am trying my hand on making the fertilizer water using broccoli……and the tulle works fantastic.

  5. I used those closet shelves to dehydrated fruit and veg( on my porch).. but I need to put some round my beds.. that’s a great idea! Thanks you too are resourceful!

  6. Yes.. toy containers laundry soap containers too.. I rinse them out… fill it with water shake it up and use the water soap to wash my stuff.. after a few times there is no soap in the exlarge detergent container.. add soil grow a salad.. it’s my CLEAN eating stragity

  7. This is one of the best most informative ones that I’ve seen you do on totes I’ve only watched a few videos. I just watched Robbie’s video this morning. But this was so clear and helpful because I have a deck. I am out in the middle of a forest and there are too many animals were not really allowed to plant so I have to use the deck and it Cedar and I can’t afford to ruin it so I’m so glad you mentioned that the totes MUST be on chairs!!!
I have the totes coming from Walmart even though they said that they destroy a lot of them in shipping I’m hoping that won’t happen but we have a store near here called Bi mart which is a small country type store in Oregon and I will have to go in to get the chairs I didn’t want to but I will after all because of what you said about the deck.

  8. I’m so glad I found you today when I Googled how to save Kale seeds! You think like me! I learned SO many new ideas to try from this one video! Thank you! I will be going back and watching many of your videos! Happy Spring!

  9. I wish I could find the chairs but they r over $10 a piece in miss. I need a bunch for my totes

  10. Robbie, your channel is totally impactful. You are answering questions and making composting and planting look way more simple. Bless you and keep the information flowing and flowering!

  11. I love the idea of gardening, A couple of years back I’ve invested a small fortune on good soil, fertilizer, seeds, plants but I couldn’t get over my fear of snakes and spiders

  12. Your garden is so pretty with all your totes. Makes me want to make a colorful garden like yours. You have really helped alit of us- thanks. God bless you from grandma Katie in Oregon. PS – can hardly wait for time for gardens where I live.

  13. Looked up Walmart containers like you said you buy…they are $20 more for six if you buy the grey color rather then the green…..yep $66 if you buy grey…😟and $45 if you buy green…go figure….the green is bright for me buy with the savings I can buy some plants or seeds right….
I’ve used $3 open weave clothes baskets from Walmart last year and placed white plastic bags inside the white basket and planted elephant ear plants as a back drop to other plants in front…once growing you can’t really see the baskets, keeps critters from chewing the bulbs.
But I am using your technique of putting dead leaves etc around the pot and planting lower height flowers around the base of the tall elephant ear.
We get plastic large bags when we shop pic up from Krogers, they are great to put boxes in to keep them from falling apart, they are white.Right now I’m planting cabbages, lettuce and kale in those inside my greenhouse……my cucumbers did a lot better in there last year then any other planting I’ve done.

Oh check out Urban Grower and his recycle container techniques….his growing medium (if true) grows unbelievable veggies….

  14. We recently moved from our own home on 1.5 acres to a mobile home community. I've always had a garden, but this year I didn't think I'd be able to because of the community guidelines. I found out they allow for "raised bed gardens" (as long as it doesn't damage the lot). I took all the info from your tote gardening and put it to good use! I got the totes for FREE at a local thrift store (they throw away totes that don't have lids…but I took all they lids they'd give me and I found nearly half that would fit a tote!). Instead of a potted plant on top of my compost container, I poked holes in the bottom of plastic instant coffee jars (with snap lids). I just put the jars in today so I don't know if they're rodent proof. But I wanted to thank you for your helpful content! I've shared your info with many friends who , for whatever reason, felt they couldn't do a garden! I'll try to send you some pics of what I have! Thanks again!

  15. Hi Robbie I wanted to know if I can use topsoil, fertiziler compost, and mulch in the totes or growing bags
