I really hope you are enjoying my vlogs and these quick garden tips on how I use cow manure in the garden.
Cow manure, in my opinion, is one of the best all-round fertiliser soil conditioners. Especially if it’s been composted and fed to the worms. It makes awesome worm castings that makes nearly every plant on this planet grow like crazy!
It’s the base to a lot of biodynamic preparations and plants really like having it around.
I hope this video helps and if you have any questions please leave them below for me to answer.

  3. Hello. I’m new to planting and just wondering if I can use cow manure as a top dressing to veggies such as lettuce? Thank you.

  4. Thanks for the video.
Which one is good for pot of flowers. Cow Manure or Mushroom Compost? Some people said cow manure can burn the plants. My pot soil is too dry.
    Many many thanks in advance.

  5. Thats fantastic! Do you think its ok if its rained on? I've read in some places it washes out the nutrients but others say to let it get rained on to get the methane and stuff out and allows beneficial microbes like firefang to colonize. I'm confused now lol.

  6. 🦘🦘… Hello mate: I can only get Brunnings bags of Cow Manure. It doesn't say on the bag whether it is mature, or how it is processed or what concentration. It looks quite rich & black with no lumps. A friend put a heap in a big pot to transplant cucumber plants into, & they are now dying !!! (Adelaide: April) but the ones not transplanted are growing well. What could be causing this? For potted plants what ratio of this bagged cow manure should you use to potting mix? This bagged cow manure sure holds the moisture. Are there any plants you would not use bagged cow manure on and why? Love your knowledge. Thanks 🦘🦘…

  7. By far this is the best video about using cow manure, short and right to the point.👍

  8. Marty. Is that only cow manure or is it mixed with soil before delivery? New sub.
