  1. I am waiting to move to a new apartment and I look forward to container gardening for veggies and herbs. Thanks for sharing Tawra and Buster. 🐕🐶🌱

  2. Your iris are a beautiful color, but I didn't get a close look at them. Are they pink or salmon? We had a microburst storm in Denver today, complete with strong winds, hail and driving rain, that only lasted 5 to 10 minutes. I only had one potato plant in a bucket break off. I hope it comes back and produces potatoes.

  3. Love, love, love this❣️(But not the heavy rain.. ) Your garden looks so tidy and organized, many good tips, Thank you❣️

  4. Your backyard landscaping is gorgeous! I've never seen your garden before and really enjoyed the tour. Why, again, in the WORLD are you moving??

  5. Tawra, my few house plants have yellow leaves on them and then the leaves dye and drop off their stems. What am I doing wrong or what can I do to change this situation?? Your garden is beautiful and yes you have a green thumb. I hope you find your new home before long. How is BJ and Elly (sp)??

  6. Great helpful tips Tawra! You have a nice lawn and gardens. Oh no not that down pour needed for your plants! Thanks again!

  7. You have a lovely garden. That is one thing I have noticed since moving here, it is not as easy to find "cast offs" in the area to use as planters. But, I can get my hands on all kinds of pallets. So I guess I will be building my raised beds out of pallets. Use what you can get, right?

  8. My container garden is about to get plenty of rain from Tropical Storm Cristobal heading up toward central Louisiana. Hope the wind doesn’t take out all my tomatoes and zucchini. There are dozens of little green tomatoes on my plants right now—got one slicer for my momma, one Roma, and grape and cherry snackers for myself.

  9. I punched holes in some Sparkling Ice bottles, and “planted” them down next to the herb plants in an elevated raised bed. So, I can use the “jet” setting on my hose to water directly into those bottles—and, the plants can get water straight to the roots. Took a year to save up the bottles, but the size is perfect for my container garden!

  10. You have motivated me to replant my nasturtiums that died for no apparent reason. Wish me luck!

  11. Enjoyed the video. Your yard is lovely and I noticed you have a lot of iris. Maybe you could do a video on how to separate and replant them.

  12. Thank you Tawra. Really inspirational and I’m going to try out your ideas 🥰 you look so happy out in your garden 🌈💕

  13. Great tips! Any suggestions for deterring chipmunks, squirrels etc from digging holes into soil…eating seeds?

  14. Idea: exchange one financial endeavor (soap making) with a much much safer one: gardening.
Maybe just make tiny soap batches for friend gifts. I'm glad you weren't hurt.
