  1. I never thought to do this and it makes perfect sense to take the time with preventative measures.Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial. 💚 🌻

  2. Thanks for great information. I am in Chandler. We are going to build planter boxes. We were considering 30” tall as I have some back problems bending over. Any input on doing that would be appreciated. 😀

  3. I've only washed my containers with soap in the sink and called it a day. I'll definitely try sanitizing them next time when they go back into storage. No problems with bacteria or fungi, but I can only be lucky for so long. Fun short video, thanks!

  4. hey, great video! I didn't even think to sanitize my starting trays, but it makes perfect sense.

You can simplify the steps even more – there's no need to rinse off 3% hydrogen peroxide since it decomposes into water and oxygen just sitting there and even a little bit left on the containers will nearly instantly decompose once you put soil into the container. Same is theoretically true for the 12%, but it's pretty potent stuff so… better safe than sorry?

  5. Thanks Angela! I ordered some stuff from your links and got two containers ready today based on guidance in your book so I can plant lettuce seeds tomorrow.
