Avid gardener Cecilia Neuhaus was ready to cut back on maintenance and water. In her new garden, she worked with Landscape Architect Tait Moring to capture the essence of Italy with low-maintenance patios and formal walkways that blend flowers and food, wildlife and soothing introspection, on her Lake Austin miniature “Grand Canal.”

Beautiful home and garden. Great job by the architects and landscapers.
Hermosa y acogedora casa que jardines me encanto!
I like her initial comment, "A Refuge". That is how I think of my gardens, a shelter, a place of being safe from danger, a refuge. Funny how nature shelters us from the negativity of mankind.
No way to this. The health and cleanliness of natural waterways depends on a buffer of plants.
This giant monstrosity (sorry personal preference) belongs in Venice, not the US.

Hey Tate๐ค๐ค๐ค
Gorgeous place. Why would she be worried about maintenance? There is no way to operate that house or garden without staff or servants.
It's very beautiful video of gardening!
Thanks lot for sharing ๐น
