  2. Oh my goodness this is one of the best gardening vid I've watched and I've watched a ton ! you are so incredibly thorough, thank you for sharing. Such a neat way of doing things. I'm definately going to use several of your ideas. I'm new to gardening so I'm working on my own way of tackling all this. I've learned so much here. I've already made a bunch of mistakes but that's how we learn right? Nothing I can't recover from. You seem way north of where I live it's March 11 and I'm relatively comfortable with thinking we are past our last frost, we don't have a huge or harsh winter here in south Louisiana.

  3. Really a great video. Thanks for sharing all this. I have a 2400 sq ft garden with half of it being fruits. the other half we plant veggies. We use a drip water system. I plant them all indoors first. I don't do the extent you do for starting them, but I think I might start doing it the way you do. I always end up with way too much food. We finally bought a food freeze dryer. Thanks so so much for your great video!

  4. Wow. Just when I thought I was getting a handle on this gardening, this guy shows me how unorganized I am. Great job, sir and a great inspiration you are.

  5. Regarding your sprouted seeds sticking to the paper towel…if you have a steady hand (and room), you can cut the paper towel and just plant it all. The towel will break down in the soil. That way there's no risk of damaging the seedling. If you properly space the seeds, once sprouted just plant the entire paper towel. My elderly neighbor would cut strips of newspaper and wet them (drench), mix in a small bowl a slurry of flour and water to make a paste. Take a disposable small paint brush, paint the paste in the middle of the strips, and add seeds at proper spacing. Then, just plant the entire strip of newspaper. This is especially helpful when doing small seeds like carrots. You can plant right away or allow the strips to sprout first.

  6. Good day, I have a silly question, is there a time that is too early to fill containers with your container soil mix or fill new raised beds with your fresh soil mixture? If I’m over a month from planting outdoors (zone 7a), will the soil life loose nutrients and minerals essential to the plants by filling the containers & beds too early? Should I wait just before planting season to put fresh soil in these containers & raised bed or is okay to fill them early before planting season begins in my zone?

  7. Great and informative video. Your cat was one of the best parts. What a character! What I need to find is planting things in super hot and dry central AZ. Where I am, rabbits and birds are a problem for gardeners. Appreciate some advise or referral to someone who has a YouTube video on planting in central AZ climate-on a budget.

  8. I am impressed with the level of organization in this garden! 😱 you have a perfect plan and you carry it out without setbacks! plus this is one of the best gardening videos i've ever seen and i love your cat! 🐈‍⬛

  9. I can't believe how cheap seeds are in america! I'm in New Zealand 🇳🇿 and on average you'll pay $1.99-$3.50 per packet of regular vegetable seeds.
Enjoyed your video very inspiring 👏

  10. Thank you for the video nice layout you got there and I love the kitty lol

  11. Thank you so much !!!! This is very thorough. Now I know what I did wrong LOL! BTW – love your CAT!
