Japanese gardens can be a place of healing and create an environment of warmth and community. In Akaike, Nagoya there is a senior care center that has a wonderful Japanese stroll garden for everyone to appreciate in all four seasons.
From the Japanese garden pathways to the stroll garden and waterfall, I hope this video gives you a little inspiration for your garden which will also become a serene place of nourishment and refreshment.

  1. big thanks for these josh. i've also bought a house in the woods recently and have been using your guidance extensively in my designs. i came into this knowing nothing and feel like i've gotten a great start.

  2. What a beautiful place where residents can relax and spend time alone or with friends and family. The treatment centre where I spent many hours sitting, while receiving Chemo, was set out with a staggered cubicle design with floor to ceiling glass walls looking out onto a small courtyard. Magnolias we’re in full bloom surrounded by a simple “modern” style Japanese garden of rocks and shrubs. It made the whole experience seem not so bad.
