Your video production skills just get better and better.
Looking forward to some parsnip recipes!

  5. I’m digging out the last of of our container potatoes this weekend. Kept them in a dry frost free place and they have been lovely. So was really pleased with the advise about rubbing off or leaving eyes as I purchased my seed potatoes yesterday. One of my jobs for today. 👍

  6. Great video with lots of helpful advice. I will have a go at layering my gooseberry bush now. Also loved the tips on chitting potatoes. You work so hard and have inspired me to get out in the veg plot too. Thank you 👍

  7. Very helpful again thanks! A video on which seeds can be saved for the following year, which varieties you recommend, f1 seeds explained etc , would be great! It would give me an idea when ordering seeds for this year (I’m a newbie so don’t have any saved seeds from previous years and it’s something I’d love to learn more of!)

  8. Another fabulous video, particularly useful were the bits on fruit pruning I'll be doing this at the allotment, and propagating new gooseberry bushes. A harty thanks guys for all of the videos they make my weekend

  9. Great video, just what I needed as we are now in rural France starting our new life as smallholders. We have 2 polytunnels and 2 raised beds with more to follow. Do you, or have you ever tried the no dig method of growing. I'm keen to try this as I have issues with osteoarthritis and digging is a bit of a problem. Also, our raised beds are properly raised, ie about 18 inches above ground. One last question, do you put wood ash on your beds ?

  10. Hi guys. My first comment of the year so I would like to start by wishing you both Happy New Year. I loved this video yet again very informative. You touched briefly on your compost bins. Would it be possible to do a more detailed video on this? i.e. what you can and can't compost, when and how to empty a bin and the best places to store them etc. Take care and thanks again. Jo x
