  1. Don't forget about using plants that provide food and shelter for butterflies and bees.
The environment and all its creatures need our help and protection.
Take the time to plant a tree, bush or flowers with a child. It will connect them to nature for life time.
Planting a vegetable garden can teach kids about where their food comes from.
We can all do something to protect the planet for future generations.

  2. Would still have the front seating areas partially enclosed so you don't feel "too exposed"…

  3. I like all of the ladies on Rock the Block. Jasmine is my favorite. She's cool and low key.

  4. What are the post frames called that were were used to put the 4 x 4's together i the front yard patio/porch – the black frames?

  5. Winner of a video, I have been researching "landscaping of garden" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about – Giyily Landscaping Yatty – (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 got great results with it.

  6. Better use of a 6 minute video is LESS facetime talkin indoors and MORE images of subject matter OUTDOORS with voice (like anchor plant segment with arrows – well done!)

  7. Jasmine, I love your head! Such fantastic lively fun and brilliant ideas. Thanks for being here on youtube. And thanks to HGTV for sharing.

  8. You are awesome,up to date with the way family’s live! Kids want to hang with the parents when they are little.your front yard ideas give them that space!!

  9. Malaysia house design now mostly no space for backyard..so we really need like this video tips and knowledge to cheerful our frontyard

  10. The slider patio door in the front is a huge NO!! Should have kept the window.

  11. There is no way we could put furniture or anything nice or removable in our front yard. Sad to say but thieves will steal everything. Seriously. You just can't have anything like that in one's front yard. Full stop.

  12. My eyes love plants! Lots of plants!!!!
But now that I have lots of plants…. I have lots of work.. I like to do yard work…. I just don’t like to HAVE to do yard work.. think of other hobbies… it’s not like… the crochet project is getting out of control and I need to get to it before it takes over the living room!!!
But with gardening…. If I don’t get those weeds…. The thistles will take over! If I don’t water the fuchsias soon they’ll die!
