    Thanks for watching!

  2. Thumbs down for the ACV and the neem/castile soap solution. Neither worked. Didn't try the cinnamon. Instead, I repotted every single damn plant and topped every container with horticultural grit. Let's see if that puts a stop to the pesky things…

  3. Ian's 100% fool proof guide to fungus gnat control:
Step 1 make pot lids for your plants with paper/vinyl/anything that covers your surface soil
Step 2 bottom feed and don't over do it
Step 3 drink a beer cause you will never see those stupid gnats again!

  4. OMG I HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND IT MAKES ME SO STRESSED. I SEE THE LARVA AND LEGIT CRIED FOR LIKE A SECOND. HOPEFULLY THESE WORK… THANKS

  5. I definitely will invest in the cold pressed neem oil I bought regular it seems to work but these buggers won’t die,
I notice you said the leaves are a little yellow is that mean they are already in the soil laying larvae eating the roots ???
New Gardener here Thanks so much !!!

  6. Hinare they damaging to the plants …..plz guide my black plum.plant looks like in danger ..Thnx alot

  7. I'm currently treating my Ornamental plants with neem oil, but one that I bought says that it can't be used for anything intended for human consumption, so I'm trying cinnamon on my herbs and I also put up some sticky traps and made up some apple cider vinegar traps. Fingers crossed 😬🤞😬🤞😬🤞

  8. This is just what i needed!..I'm going to try cinnamon and the ACV trap today..and hoping to get rid of those flies.

  9. Thank You so much for creating this great video – controlling gnats. The NEEM OIL spray. How many drops of neem oil do we need to put in a spray bottle??? Bright Blessings!!!

  10. This method get rid of gnats 100%. Mix the product "eight." Drench the plant on the chosen day. Do this outside. On the exact same day of the following week, drench again. And the next week on the same day. So if you choose Sunday, then the following 2 weeks need be Sunday also. This will break the life cycle. Works like a charm. But you cannot do it Sunday, them Monday. It needs be the exact same day for the second two drenchings, one week apart.

  11. I thought I was just having a really bad year. My germination rate had taken a real nose dive. I have noticed a lot of gnats around my seed trays and hydroponics. Now I know what has happened, Those little buggers have been eating the seeding roots and wreaking havoc on my efforts. Well, this is going to end right now and hopefully I will have a good crop of hydroponic greens for the winter.

  12. 2 tsp 3% hydrogen peroxide per cup of water put in spray bottle. Spray top layer of soil. Done. Better than anything else I've ever tried.

  13. use 10ml pure neem oil on one liter of water with couple of drops of dish soap mix well spray everything and water your medium really well. Everything must be covered in neem oil. Systematically is the best.

  14. Hi I did use cinnamon powder on top of soil but I still see some fungus gnats staying there… will they go away ?

  15. Thank you for this quick and easy solution to rid gnats!! It really doesn't take a 10 minute video

  16. THANKS FOR THE TIPS. I WILL SURELY TRY IT WITH CINNAMON BEC THATS THE ONLY ONE AVAILABLE ON MY HOME RIGHT NOW. WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS. HOPE FUNGUS GNATS ON MY SEEDLINGS BE ERADICATED SOONEST BEFORE IT COMPLETELY DAMAGE MY LEMON SEEDLINGS. THANK YOU VERY MUCH AGAIN!!!

  17. Hello,
Fungus gnats are in plants for sure, but your apple vinegar trap is for fruit flies. You surelly never tested it before saying this!

  18. I’m curious the toxicity of the conventional soap, especially edible plants. Has anyone tried using the neem oil methods with Dr. Bronner’s or an organic detergent?

  19. Excellent Video!! I have been battling fungus gnats FOREVER and glad to see your simple and safe solutions…Thanks!

  20. I tried apple cider vinegar, didn't work. I tried the soap and water spray, even used vaseline on leaves and stems. Didn't work. fans the sprays and the bugs wouldn't stick to tape vaseline or soap.

  21. My step daughter put cups of apple cider vinegar and caused an infestation. Oh I was so 😡! I ran serious defense. I'm now trying to kill the bastards on my plants. Mosquito bits and Neem is what I'm seeing is a go to, and I'll get that tape for adults.

  22. i tried this method , it didn''t catch one , the gnats were dancing around it but never fell in it
