Make sure you cut it from the stem before it goes to seed. If you let it fully mature, your plant will likely start to die because it has completed its life cycle.

if you’re hoping for more this year, you need to detach it from the plant. otherwise this one might allow the plant to feel that it has accomplished its task of creating another generation.
