I’ve tried r/plantclinic and weekly threads and can’t get an answer, so I was hoping all you brilliant people would take kindly to me and lend some advice.
I was gifted this snake plant in the spring and shortly after, noticed a small gray patch on the left circled leaf. I’m relatively new to houseplants, so after an unsuccessful google, I just dismissed it as damage from the garden center. It has several broken or split leaves but it is very large and has been around a while to accumulate “life experience” if you know what I mean. This week I noticed the spot has gotten much larger and is now on a second leaf, so I now know it’s spreading. My guesses are bacteria or an unseen parasite., But I can’t find anything, so far.
I’m very careful to let the soil dry out in-between waterings, and I have yet to repot it (very intimidated and concerned about breaking leaves), but I know it needs to happen soon. Any advice?
