Airplants putting on a fireworks display

  1. I see tillandsia, bromeliads, and orchids. Sorry to be pedantic but are orchids and bromeliads actually considered epiphytes?

Either way this is really cool. I’ve got a neighbor who’s palms and cycads have different types of orchids growing on their trunks.

Beautiful!! If you’re into epiphytes and you’re blessed with no freezes (looks like you are) you should look into more orchids!

Vanilla and Vandas really like humid areas that have bright filtered sun. They grip onto palm trees like no tomorrow.

One of my favorite orchids for palm tree is aeranthos “Maggie Mae”. Although your can grow pretty much any cattleya, TRUE oncidium, and even Phalaenopsis orchids outside if you acclimate them.
