My very first house plant, a house warming gift: this Aglaonema (Chinese evergreen) was given to me as an offshoot from my friend’s larger plant 6 years ago. It went through some rough times as I gained experience with house plants. Now it is time to make one (or two) more house warming gifts from this. Many of my elder plants have earned a dedicated aerator (a fancy chopstick). I suggested getting a nicer pot but she’s comfortable in her original pot from the dollar store. I did one repotting a few years ago.
