
#tbt this was my Peperomia prostrata (different from the hanging basket I have now) planted in a 3-column planter, which I built from PVC pipe. It broke my heart to have to discard the plant after several battles with spider mites. The story is: the mites came stowed away on a prayer plant cutting I took from an infested plant that I believe had been adquately washed. Therefore, my usual first course of action with spider mites is disposal of the infested plant. Perhaps I will start a cutting from my current Peperomia prostrata and restore the planter’s former glory…
