Peace lily – growers force them to flower with a hormone called gibberellic acid and provide them with plenty of “perfect” light (sunshine diffused through a semi-opaque white sheet; very bright but won’t burn). Realistically in your home, there would never be more than 2-3 flowers at a time so perhaps it would be better to change your perspective: don’t expect to grow something like a professional greenhouse. Instead, love the shiny dark green foliage and your plant will reward you with a few blooms every now and then.
