I got a couple questions about this yesterday: yes, this is a phalenopsis orchid growing in just water. I made a video about the process of converting it to full water culture. The honest truth is, I’m not all that crazy about orchids in comparison to tropical foliage plants *BUT* just when I had given up on this one, I noticed a flower spike growing down into the bowl. I had to gently pry out the spike so that it could hang down on the outside of the bowl. It should make for an interesting bloom display!
