A check in from @lotuslandgarden – “In this somber time, as our community reels from another disaster and we all work to heal once again, I want to share the good news that Lotusland is fine. The garden was not flooded. Some paths are washed out, as we expected. The garden is filled with vegetative debris, mostly due to the high winds. A few branches are down, but no trees or large cacti are down …yet.
Our primary concern now is for the safety and well-being of our community, our neighbors and supporters. We are trying to account for everyone and hope to hear how each and every one of you are faring.
Lotusland remains in mandatory evacuation status. We are conducting business remotely, but we have major clean-up to do, once again, and are anxious to return and prepare the garden to receive you. Lotusland is a place of incredible beauty, tranquility, serenity and peace. Time in the garden for meditation, reflection, reunion, and even escape, is likely to benefit everyone. We look forward to welcoming you all back to the garden when we open for our 25th season on February, 16.”
