What would cause the yellowing? At first we thought rust, but now I wonder if it’s soil chemistry. Located in the Indiana Dunes region, our soil is very sandy. Leaves on top seem very healthy. We’ve had the plants for 3 years, and they’ve had yellow leaves since day one.
I don’t know enough to know I’m giving good information, so please forgive this noob.

Could just be a nutrient issue from sandy soil, those soils don’t hold iron or nitrogen well which often leads to yellowing. If the newer top leaves look fine it’s probably not anything serious.
Thanks for the quick reply!
