Our local silk floss tree (not kapok but same genus – thanks @kwic13) is ready to disperse seeds! Just learned that kapok fiber is 8 times lighter than cotton and naturally rejects water. 💡Would be great for stuffing outdoor pillows💡 #silkflosstree #ceiba #thehorticult
