BOYLSTON – One of New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill’s most highly anticipated botanical spectacles of the year is almost here. The Field of Daffodils, a stunning seasonal display of more than 25,000 blooming daffodils (Narcissus cvs.) stands ready to dazzle visitors from across the region.

The Field of Daffodils was first planted in 1991, and thanks to the spreading nature of daffodils, it has grown into a jaw-dropping sea of yellow blooms in the decades since. Today, a variety of cultivars can be found, the earliest of which, ‘Rijnveld’s Early Sensation,’ began showing color in March.

While blooms are weather dependent, the Garden expects the field to be at its most vibrant within the next 10 to 14 days. Enjoy this special springtime experience before it’s gone.

New England Botanic Garden is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Follow the Garden on social media @NewEnglandBG for bloom updates and visit https://nebg.org/spring-at-the-garden/ to learn more about other exciting arts, culture, and education programs coming to New England Botanic Garden this spring.
