Artist Chris Fox knew the risks; he knew how expensive maintenance would be and knew he needed to change minds, so he planned it all out to the last detail. And when it all fell apart months after opening, he couldn’t help but feel disappointed.
Fox was the lead designer for the green wall system encircling the Rozelle stacks; three concrete cylinders sticking stoutly out of the ground where the Rozelle interchange meets Anzac Bridge, providing ventilation for Sydney’s WestConnex tunnel.
