A Zone 4b warm spell at the end of March gave us a little time to install 2 new 2’x2’x6’ stock tanks on top of my custom container elevators and extend the fence with another 8’ section. The garden is 2 years old and couple of the other beds were sinking a little. I jacked them up with a floor jack and we reset the footings; leveling the tanks again. We use the Hugelkultur method to partially fill the containers, then top them with a bale of ProMixHP and our own compost. I’ll water that all in, cover them and let them cook. Meanwhile I have seeds started indoors under lights, the will be ready to harden off after the last frost. More videos to come.
