Hello all again!

Went to see my grandmother and again she received plenty of orchids (yeey). This time I came just in time while they are well and alive. I was thinking of taking good care of them before they rot again. Was looking online and there are those DIY Orchid towers that I think would look cool and also, having them all in one place.

what are you suggestions? Any advice is more than welcome and I appreciate all your help in advance.

Thank you

looks like all phalaenopsis, and they’re pretty tough, could get my soaking the roots in water for about 20 mins a week maybe. technically it’s not great to schedule watering, plants just need water when they need it, but if you have a lot of plants you have to make do sometimes

I’d just pot them individually in a nice bark/moss mix in well ventilated pots.

Pretty color combo in that first picture! You didn’t really specify your orchid experience level. If you’re experienced grower DIY tower is fine. Generally you want to keep the root systems separated in their own pots for multiple reasons. (ease of watering, so they don’t compete for space and water, less risk of virus transfer, etc) The first picture is an example of that… They are in one big pot, but each one most likely has it’s own clear pot under the moss)

If you’re new to orchids, you could attempt the tower but I would suggest becoming familiar with orchid growing first so you can keep an eye out for any problems. For example how the roots work, how watering works, their growth cycles, etc.
