I got this fiddle from a friend back in October.

It was doing okay, but started getting these red veiny spots and then dropped 6 or so leaves all at once. I repotted it a couple weeks ago from the white pot pictured. Its roots were all curled around in a circle so I tried teasing them out a bit, which may have not been the best move but seems to be doing fine now. I imagine some of the issue was inconsistent watering and the fact that it was root bound for a while.

Compared to my other fiddle (which also needs a repot but 12” pots are impossible to find), this one looks pretty sad 🙁

I keep it on my counter which only gets some direct morning light but mostly indirect light.

Would it be best for the health of the plant to prop and chop? I don’t want to shock it right after I repotted…
