We’ve got an unkept area at the back of the garden that’s filled with rocks/stones that we will hopefully eventually sort out. For now it’s just being left alone.

Since the start of spring this blue plant has been growing quite aggressively. To be fair it does cover the back quite nicely and seems to grow in harsher conditions.

What’s it called? Is it a problem? Are they actually flowers or more like weeds?

    Well, they’re only weeds if you don’t want them there.

    Not sure on the species, but they look like a member of the borage family, boraginaceae. Lots of those are cultivated as ornamentals, like Pulmonaria (lungwort) and Brunnera.

    If I had to take a wild guess, based on some quick search results, I’d say it could be a species of Myosotis (forget-me-nots).
