For the sake of this question please assume the beds are empty as I’m going to lift all the daff and tulip bulbs once they’ve finished flowering and they’ve had a good feed.

I’m asking as I can grow plants, I just can’t choose similar ones or arrange them in a way which looks pretty at all 😭, I have just random clumps of plants everywhere.

All of the beds currently contain quite a sandy topsoil but I might mix in some bags of compost to make it lighter as it tends to compact after a few waterings. The garden is east-facing so the bed in the first picture gets sun until early-mid afternoon, and once the tree has leaves it’s fully shaded underneath so it will need shade tolerating plants. and the low bed on the last photo gets sun for the majority of the day (in the height of summer it probably gets direct sun until 7pm). I’m also open to plant recommendations for the pond as it’s a bit bare at the moment (I was thinking maybe irises for added height?) for the beds in general I would prefer fast-growing plants (especially flowering ones)

I would really like some Crocosmia “lucifer” in one of the beds somewhere if that can be worked in somehow then it’ll be a bonus (although I know it can be a bit of a controversial one as it tends to spread)

I also have quite a few oriental lilies which I love so if they can also be worked in then that would also be a bonus

Leave the daffodils! They come back every year, just eait until the leaves die down and cut them off, but leave the bulbs.

As for what to plant, get yourself down the garden centre. Find 3 plants you like the look of and buy a few of each, then just randomly pop them in
