I have a huge monstera that’s several years old it was happy in my old apartment where it got direct light from an east facing window, I moved apartments and now it gets filtered light from a west facing window and looks completely miserable. I’ve repot it and gotten a grow light but is it over for my big beautiful girl? I love her so much and I hate to see her wilting and struggling like this. Any tips are welcome

Shes still green so theres definitely still life! Monsteras are surprisingly resilient and bounce back very quickly!
When did you repot? What kind of soil did you use and how often do you water?
she’s probably struggling to adjust to the difference in light. maybe put the light a little further up /away then gradually reintroduce light?
You need to change the soil to a chunkier mix and I can’t tell if there’s drainage?
Agree with those who suggested a chunkier mix. Also, you may need a stronger grow light. Monstera are resilient tho! So keep the faith that she will perk back up. 🙂
I think it may be in shock and craving more light. My Monstera is in Miracle-Gro (I didn’t know at the time, it being my first real plant), and it’s doing fine. I got him a year and a half ago, and he was in a 6-inch pot.

Im still new to caring for monstera, I actually just today had to cut my plant due to stem rot. So obviously im not the most knowledgeable in the topic but, it looks like you pinned it to the support pole by the petioles?
You’ve received some great recommendations already but be sure to also free the leaves (petioles). Plant should only be attached to the support via the stem. The leaves need to be free. These plants have a front side and a backside. If attached properly, eventually all of the leaves should be facing the window (light). Good luck!
Make sure the light is putting out enough light. You can get a light meter on amazon cheap, I think there are also apps that can check it, not sure how accurate they are.
Miracle gro isn’t the issue cuz I use it. You do need to amend the soil though. In my monsteras I do equal parts potting soil, perlite and orchid bark or pine bark nuggets. You could even put it in water and it’ll bounce back. I have a monstera that looked similar to yours in water and about a month later it’s got 5 new leaves. They’re super resilient plants. It’ll be fine
Yes
You should really watch some videos on YouTube about how to support a monstera! I see many petioles (leaf stalks) strapped to the Moss Pole, you should only be strapping the main stem to that pole with the back of the stem against the pole. You can tell what part of the stem is the back as that is the side the ariel roots tend to come out of and the petioles face the opposite direction. It may be time to do a top cutting, root it and repot it. Remember that monstera’s prefer to be root bound so the smaller the pot the better. The soil you’re using is no bueno, it should have large chunks of perlite and orchid bark, less than 50% of your mix should be soil. You could also Google search some solutions there
