jk. but I like spiders and I’m a little sad every time a trap opens and it’s a spider 🥲 are house spiders super attracted to the smell they put out??? there was once a super annoying fly buzzing around the room for days and when I spotted a closed trap I thought yes, finally ….. nope. Another spider 😫

Venus flytraps are generalist plants. The majority of what they catch is crawling bugs. *They grow close to the ground.* Spiders like nectar.
Have you considered asking it politely to stop?
