Families will compare their abilities to those of birds during this week’s Science Saturday program at Crossroads at Big Creek.
Geared towards school-aged children but open to all, this interactive event is on April 11 at 10 am.
Next, the Door County Master Gardeners will host a presentation on container gardening on Monday, April 13, at 1:30 pm.
Refreshments and socializing will follow this recorded webinar from the Garden Expo.
Crossroads’ Junior Nature Club will meet next on Wednesday, April 15, at 10 am to learn about shapes.
This free six-week series is designed to help preschoolers connect with nature. Caregivers will attend with their children, and siblings are welcome.
Also on Wednesday, April 15, a naturalist-led Wandering Wednesday hike will kick off at 1:30 pm.
Events meet at Crossroads’ Collins Nature Center, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.
