It would usually reabsorb the lowest petals to account for the new growth but this is like 50% of the plant. What the heck it doing. I’ve had it under strong light since it was a baby and it even achieved heavenly angel levels of perfection throughout its life. I’ve gone months without watering and it’s held up. I checked the bottom of the pot and there’s the smallest amount of root showing so needs repotting soon but I don’t wanna mess with it while it’s doing whatever this is. I’m bottom watering it rn and will see what it does. The stem looks healthy from what I can see also
the softness is dehydration, the yellow is just from those leaves being old + the plant outgrowing its pot. i’ve had this happen a number of times lol it’s no biggie :p it should fade once repotted, fertilizing might speed it up idk i’ve never kept track of that
