Hi everyone, I am curious if anyone can diagnose what’s going on with my calathea white star that I got 4-5 months ago and if it’ll be okay. As of a few weeks ago, I noticed that the ends of some of the leaves are starting to brown and now these blackish areas are appearing on the leaves (almost like the leaf is thinning and becoming see through). For reference, I only water my plant with distilled water (soil only, never on the leaves), keep it in indirect sunlight (some of the time I’d say it’s even less than indirect light), and haven’t been great at watering but do so every 1.5-3 weeks (when the soil gets dry). I do realize I need to be better with watering it though. Any clue what’s going on?

They don’t like to dry out and they want HIGH humidity. My calathea would die if I went 3 weeks without watering.
I never let my maranta, calatheas or triostars dry out and they live directly next to the humidifier

Do you fertilise? If not, I would start adding something to your water, preferably something organic because chemical fertilizers can be too strong. I would also give it more light, mine all get indirect sunlight through the window all day, some get direct morning sun and love it. Also, keep the humidity to at least 45%.
